fiber and connector cleaner

Fiberglass is still cleaned by many mechanics with a rag and a bottle of alcohol. We hear this regularly in our training courses. Because it is cheap and available everywhere. But for years, the standard IEC 61300-3-35 has prescribed that Isopropyl alcohol may not be used.
The main reasons; it attracts water, the glass becomes static.
Special non-flammable liquids that have been developed for this purpose give a better result.
